Cute kid. I like the viewpoint in #2.

Nice work, I think #3 looks a little cluttered...maybe too much DOF. #2 seems to be the strongest, as it has the most attention to the subject, imho.

I am a bit concerned. These do not look very sharp on my monitor. Now i'm wondering, do I invest in a new D600 or a new monitor or is it operator error?

Considering, I just started photography in April....I thought these looked pretty good. I am just looking for CC on what I can improve to make these look better. But, I figured they were already sharp.

No. 2 rocks. The eyes are really cool. Print this one big!

No. 1 and 3 could be improved, I think, by getting the kiddie to look into the camera. I don't think the subject always has to look into the camera, but I think we need that connection in 1 and 3.

Thank you I am definately going to print #2 out very large. His eyes are beautiful! Thanks for the tips on 1 and 3.

They are sharp...Nice job. 2 looks a tad on the "cool" side. May be intentional if not simple WB adjust.

#2 is good, but the eyes look overcooked to me. Too overdone.

Cute !
I think it's a good idea to have the second person, standing right behind you, same height.
I do miss the "connection" as well.
