It has been a long time since I posted anything here. I thought some of you may enjoy this.
Following is a link to an image I just edited from my studio. It is a 1932 Plymouth Coupe. There are a total of seven different images used to create this composite. Each image involved lighting and reflector changes.
equipment used:
5dII
24-70L
580ex
4 Photogenic PL1250DR lights
20'x20' overhead softbox
Photoflex Large softbox
6'x6' Avenger silk
8'x8' blackout cloth
4'x4' black cloth
various pieces of foam core
30'x24'x24' cyclorama that is 12' tall
I used the gretagmacbeth color checker to adjust luminance and color balance.
I have arranged it so you will first see the original whole image followed by the masked area I used of that image.
- Establishing image (No Mask)
- Used elements (Mask)
After you see all the pieces it steps through each pieces being added to complete an image.
My web presence is nearly non-existent and very rarely updated. Extremely rare. I put up galleries and link to those for clients but I do not update my site and bother putting links there.
Eventually I will have to do something about this, especially since I own about six URL's and only use two of them. More ideas than time.
The car was the aggressor in this incident. Thankfully, nobody at the studio was shot.
edit:
Apparently I did not have a www in my url when I edited my profile. all I had to do was add www.
Urls are dalemurrayphotography.com and dale-murray.com Like I said, neither is ever updated.
