Often I would complain about the grain/noise in the bokeh, but in this shot, it works extremely well!

Not to be too contrarian, but I found the noise distracting (before scrolling down and see the positive comments). Especially on the left side.

I actually do like the noise in the image- I had originally added a slight blur- but removed it.

Thank you for your feedback!

Like the light and detail not so keen on the noise and also think the subject is too centred in the frame - think it would be better a bit to the left.

I would make it square format. You would then have the stem in the background as a diagonal.

I would like to see:
- Less noise. Put me in that camp.
- Subject moved to the left. My eye follows the plant stem around from left to the right.
- Focus point closer to the center, because of the above and my eye following the plant around

It depends on what you want from a picture, doesn't it. I prefer to isolate any subject from distractions when I can, because it's what comes first, then the context. For ease of the visual pleasure of examination of nature's structure. Here, to my eye, the subject is strikingly confused with the stem behind it and the noise around it.

The other stem behind that makes a big X centred behind the subject, which is itself too centred. And the blur of something too close to the lens bottom right makes it look like you just snapped it on the run when in fact you have complete control of it, it's not going to run away.

I bet you can do better.

I agree Mark, Thank you everyone for your feedback.

I like hearing different suggestions from so many creative people.

Thank you all

Might snag this raw out of archive and see if I can somehow make it a little more aesthetically pleasing.
