So the idea is to catch the spider and keep her for a while to make her hungry and, thus, slow and docile? How long a while? I don't know much about spiders and would not want to let her starve too long considering that after docile comes dead.
I always wondered how people got there spiders (and other critters) to cooperate and all I could come up with was low temperatures. It seems starvation may be working too. It would be good to get them drunk on something; however, again, I figure that after drugged comes dead and I don't know how much those animals can take.
Any information on calming a spider?
