I really like the image on the left, and the one on the right is pretty good too, but there's something about the center image. I don't thinks it fits the triptych feel very well; it's so different from the left and right photos. And center photo really draws my focus to it, probably because (1) it's in the center, (2) she's staring right at you, and (3) her eyes are much more prominent since you're zoomed in a bit more.

I like it is as-is, but I would really like it more if the center image was replaced with one more similar to the left and right photos. They're all nice photos individually though.

super images and lighting, the contrast is subtle yet effective

Jerald,

Thanks for your comments.

The dissimilarity is intentional - going for a sandwich effect? - conflicting with the other two. I had not considered the discontinuity. An idea that, after review, misses the mark, diminishing the other two images.

Glad you like the images individually,

Regards,

Bob

I agree with Jerald, and your rework nailed the fix.

Version 2 is great; a proper triptych in my book.

I agree. Version #2 works for me as well, both as far the comp and the toning are concerned.

I like the second version as well, but both are good and present the beautiful children well. Does the second version use a selenium gradient?

Bob, all are very good images.
I like the second threesome best. Probably even without the toning.

Tim, Jerald, Lazlo, Joe, and Chris

Thank you for your comments. Jerald's suggestion unified the set.
