The finnish is wearing off? I haiti when that happens. I czecked my 5D classic, and it's still good togo after all these years. Perhaps you should take a pole? There's norway that a sudan, widespread drop in quality would go un-noticed.

Legend His camera is probably much lighter now with the Finnish no longer attached to the bottom!
I'm Korean but I'm okay with the Finnish. But if the paint is wearing off the left side of your camera after 5 months, you're obviously wearing it on the right side and rubbing it against something abrasive. Maybe studs on your leather jacket or jeans? Oddly, my camera wore a hole in several of my t-shirts. The camera was fine, but then it is a 5D2 and has a superior Finnish to a 5D3...
Wow...this thread has sure made me laugh.....the problem is not funny but the humor of our members has me rolling with laughter.....Hope u get your finish problem solved....my gut is sore from laughing

A worn camera is a loved camera because it is being used. Some fabrics are actually very abrasive. Scouring pads are made out of nylon.
Shelf queens look fabulous but are lonely divas.
I don't worry if my cameras and lenses showing wear and tear. I buy them to use them, not to hold them for resale. (Even so I'm a packrat about boxes, and I do sell equipment when I move on.)

You are getting feedback: fret not, it's not important.
And for everyone not familiar with the Finnish term referred to, Sisu can be freely translated as "Guts". Sisu is also the brand-name of a Finnish truck.
