Does anyone know if gimbal heads such as the sidekick are compatible inside Aquatech Raingear for the Super-Teles.

you might want to look into the Think Tank versions. i can use a sidekick in the 300-600 model w/o issue. i think anything larger would not do too well. i prefer the TT design.

It probably is compatible, why don't you ask AquaTech directly? I've corresponded with them, and they provide good rsponse.

I have an AquaTech SS-Zoom raincoat for a normal zoom on 1D-series body. It's well made and works fine. OTOH, I prefer the Think Tank Hydrophobia raincoats that sjms mentioned. I have both the 70-200 and 300-600 v.2 models, and they work very well in even the heaviest rain.

Ok, thanks for the input and advice. I saw the aqua tech version on a local listing for pretty cheap, so I was thinking about picking it up.
