Another update: The 200 i got back performs great now. The AF was fixed and something was cleaned off the internal glass. Only problem now is a slight squeak when I turned the focus ring. Sounds like I'm in a horror flick and someone is about to kill me.
I took a video of the problem on my smart phone and sent it to Mason last night. I got a call from him this morning apologizing for that and we're getting it shipped back to him to fix that.
I don't think I would've received a personal call from canon Irvine.
