I went from using a 5D2 plus lenses to a Sony RX100, then the RX1.
I could not believe the images from small cameras and wanted to explore this further.
Got a DP2M on Saturday, charged the battery and went out. This is from a local farm, camera settings as they came, except Portrait profile. SPP conversion to jpeg.
I cannot believe the colour or spatial resolution of this camera. Time to get a DP3M

It is a pitty you quoted the picture as well, Carsten. To correct that I have to mess up my file system. Will you be so kind to delete the picture. Thank you!

Amplexis,
It looks like you used a flash with those photos. Which unit and what settings?
i used a Nikon SB-28 with a diffuser cap @ 1/4 power. it is on the end of a macro arm so the light is about 45°
i love that the SD Merrill cameras have the leaf shutter so i can sync at a 1/2000s and not have bad lighting ruin the picture.

Our munchkin is four months old. This was shot with the DP3M this morning. Between the Merrills and my X-E1, I think I may finally be ready to part ways with my Nikon DSLRs. I don't find resizing the Merrill images down to web size really does them justice, the detail at 100% is astounding.
