I ran across this male carpenter bee this afternoon. I Don't remember ever seeing one with green eyes before.

Yes the light was hot. The light I was throwing at that Bee was straight out of the flashes. When I got to my favorite shooting location -> Meeman-Shelby Forest I discovered I left my Lumiquest SoftBoxes/Diffusion Devices at home. But when I saw that green eyed Bee I had to make do.
Thanks for the input.
Oh, by the way. I went back today armed with all my stuff, 4 flashes, light stands, diffusers and 16 fully charged batteries. but couldn't find that green eyed beauty.
