My first attempt at studio work. 50D, 85/1.8, pair of Britek 440w/s strobes with umbrellas. In the first 2 shots the strobe to the left of the subject was at full power while the strobe to the right of the subject was at 1/2 power. In the last 3 both strobes were at full power. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

nice job.....a little more separation between subject and BG might be something to consider. I like between 5-8 feet. Consider backing off your fill light a bit slight shadows create a more dramatic shot.....

I agree - you did a nice job on this (and very cute models, I might add!) In the little boy and in the last picture of the girl, you might consider taking one of the catch-lights in the eyes out in post-production. Minor detail though ...

Thanks for the input. I did want more seperation, but my backdrops aren't long enough.
