Magic Lantern has never been able to run on the Canon EOS 7D - until now! This is HUGE news for those people wanting to enhance their Canon EOS 7D with Magic Lantern.

This is excellent news indeed.
Hopefully it wont take much time to get the actual software out for people to use. Its been a while since the 7D has been out.
I miss this on Nikons (parallel effort under way for the d800 by another team, but not sure how soon before they have something).

Question about HDR bracketing. How many shots does ML take? I checked the User Guide and it doesn't specify the number of shots. It would be awesome if it can take more than 3 bracket shots. I usually find that 5 shots is the ideal number.

On my 5D2 it's a maximum of 9 shots

This was pretty much my tipping point (combined with the lack of interesting new bodies from Canon) to trade in my 60D for a 7D. Hoping it won't take too long for the release.

I almost pulled the 7D off the market a few days ago when I saw ML was finally being ported over. It's been a long time coming, but since I mainly use the 5dII, it'd be nice to have the articulating screen of the 60D. Hopefully, you'll get some use out of the 7D!
