Magic Lantern has never been able to run on the Canon EOS 7D - until now! This is HUGE news for those people wanting to enhance their Canon EOS 7D with Magic Lantern.

For the longest time I was under the impression that Magic Lantern only published easier to read camera instruction manuals. I wasn't aware that they come up with alternative firmwares. I know this is a "self-promotion" post but can you in brief tell me the advantages of the ML firmware compared to the 7.0.2 FW just introduced by Canon? I couldn't get that on ML website. Please send me a PM if you feel that it is not appropriate to post it here. Thanks!

Awesome! I have been running ML on my 5D2 this week and it really does make it like a new camera.
Installed it on mine Michelle and I would have to agree. FINALLY - one push to see images fully zoomed on on the LCD to check focus! - Why Canon hasn't done this years ago I can't understand. Focus peaking is pretty cool as well.
