I'd suggest adding a little more sky to the top of the Stearman shot, but otherwise a very good set. In the future, I'd suggest that you shoot propeller-driven airplanes at a slower shutter speed in order to show some motion blur in the propeller (1/250 or 1/320 is a good starting point). You'll need to pan carefully along with the airplane when shooting to keep the airframe sharp. This will reduce your keeper rate and make it harder to get a sharp image, but the results will look much more realistic and dynamic. Sep 17, 2012 at 03:40 PM
