p.1 #1 · 5dii with 100 shutter count for 1550 au dollars

I have been offered a canon 5D ii recently replaced due to water damge for 1550 australian dollars. Hence the very low shutter count. It still has the clear plastic over the screens or should i get the nikon d600?. I feel the 1/4000 max shutter speed and 200 flash sync speed may let this camera down. My only worry for the 5d is the focus speed,
Is this worth buying over the new nikon d600 i know this is a canon section, hopefully i will get soe constructive advice.

get d600 with sharp nikon primes (35 1.4, 85 1.4 , etc) Canon primes suck. I tried 50L & 85L on 5DII . 85L is extremely slow and heavy. 50L is hit or miss in AF terms. Did not get a chance to try 35 1.4. Some canon guys report this lens is the best. Hope it helps.
