Nice set Charlie, sometimes I think street photography is really your forte. Love the splash of color in the first but the third is just wonderful.

Thanks Patrick and Douglas.
It being late November/early December- I was happy to find so many leaves on the trees. And the air was nippy, but not frigid.
About the street shooting thing- I'm basically a traveler who takes pictures of things of interest- mainly people. It works for me- and occasionally for others.
Alas, not so many photographers do a lot of street shooting any more.

John- I'm not sure how you mean retro in this context, but these were taken about 14 years ago, with Kodachrome film (slides recently scanned and processed). The weather in St Petersburg was on the edge of being gloomy.
And back then, the Soviet Union probably WAS retro. The 20th century had largely left them behind- except for the construction of military weapons and a few other scientific accomplishments.
