From a once thriving marina community, Alviso
This old storefront is symbolic of the town
Thought I would try a B&W of this

Here's a pano crop of same

And a closer look

Hi Dan, I like the pano crop.
But the third one also looks great with speed blur on top and side of the locomotive.

Nice, Dan. Too bad the engine is not a steam engine.

Jeffrey,
That wouldn't be sweet!
But I'm afraid it would not do for a commuter line.

Every year or so I re-visit this location near work & try something a little different

This time I switch to a 35mm prime when I saw what the 24-105 was sitting at.
In case you hadn't already guessed, the train is going away from me.
It seems a little easier to manage the movement.& the visuals are not alot different.
It easier to handle the vibration too, that easily swamps out the IS lens when its going by you

I think my next visit will be with 6x7 B&W film gear, just for fun.

Thanks
Dan
