Ah, western forests 100 years ago. Wouldn't it have been nice to walk through old-growth forests that weren't surrounded by clear-cut leavings- and the lumber company tree farms planted there? Sigh. Charlie - there are still a great many trees in NW Calif, but and the lumber business there seems to be growing!
