May I ask why you dont just buy a 60D and have it modified?

other differences? none. zero. nada..lol
Oh wait, the 60Da comes with an AC Adapter, a $20 part on Ebay..

Have been doing mods for Astro, IR, UV, and the new "E" mod(removal of AA Filter) for 7+years and have done models from the 5D3 and 1DIV and older(have not had a chance to do a 1Dx, yet!)
have also worked on quite a few Nikon models, along with Sony(DSLRs and NEX!), etc..
Besides offering services to modify your current camera, I also sell "Pre-modified" camera packages.

IIRC, I have sold 7 60Ds this year alone, so far..not including other models!(4x5D2, 8xT3i, 3xT2i,1x7D, just off the top of my head..)
What is the catch? you have to use a CWB(Custom White Balance) for "normal" daytime pics.
so what? I load one for every customer and that one should work for nearly most lighting situations. IF not? it is VERY, VERY easy to do one at anytime yourself..
Just sayin..60Da is definitely not your/anyone's only options...and it will definitely NOT perform as well as a modified 60D. period.
30% or 100% Hydrogen transmissions? I will take 100% any day of the week...
