I am in need of a couple of SD cards and was wondering if anyone knows of any great deals on them. Not too fussy about brands. Thanks.

i would start getting just a little fussy. in the years i've been using both CF and SD i pretty much stick with either Lexar or Sandisk. the reason for this is they generally deliver on their claims. each time i have wandered i have found that many brands are long on promise and short on delivery when it came to the "performance" claims. there is considerable latitude for BS in the SD marketplace with their rating system(s). i generally like to get what i pay for.

i got a great deal on one recently.. it failed within two weeks. I'd go buy the most expensive one you can find

that is not the answer. price does not necessarily mean superior quality.

You don't mention anything about capacity or speed sooooooo, I just picked up 20 1 GB SD cards off of Ebay for $3.35 each.

P.S. A couple of them did not work and were immediately replaced by the seller .

I would have to disagree with that statement as I have bought many Kingston, Transcend, etc. cards and have had them for many years and have never had one problem. They have performed just as well as my San Disk cards.
