I like the crop and the fact that you left the shadows dark, but not black. The colors look fine to me in Safari. There does appear to be some noise in the lower right water. Maybe it's just granularity. The dark area on the left side of the sun beam on the water looks too dark to me, sort of like it was brushed. I might lighten it just a bit. Overall I really like it. The only suggestion I have involves the composition which seems too centered. I would consider cropping out about half of the black part of the sky and enough of the right side to leave the sun near the thirds position. I agree that the shadow detail recovery, dialed in a tad as you have done, strengthens the image. For this image I like the clouds and feel they add interest. I like my wide crop or even your original uncropped image better than the other crops. (And yes, I meant that, too. ) BTW, the reason I chose the crop is the balance improves, to my eyes, by including the features on the right that visually balance the interest features in the silhouette features on the right.
