great portrait, even the empty space on the left side works - seems to balance to busy right side.

Is that infrared and orten effect applied for processing? Super toning

Very nice gaze from the young man, and juxtaposition with the pick up truck

Thanks for the feed back Joe, colour photo converted using several options.
But no IR, something I do want to try, many friends of mine do them very well.
The space on the left was to open it up a bit, more of rule of 1/3
As I recall some of Fred's B&W work flow and not sure what else, I just start playing sometimes.

What I just noticed was the pickup truck in the background seemingly crashing into his head.
It goes great with your caption.
Did you do that purposely, or was it just a happy accident?
