Sri Lanka, 1977. I found myself lost in the spectacular hills of Sri Lanka where tea was grown. This family found me, brought me home for tea, and then led me back to the village where I was staying.

Charlie loves it!

Six barefoot children, perhaps not enough food to keep them all healthy, and yet they invite you to be a guest in their home for tea. And then escort you back to where you were staying.
WOW! The occasional experiences like that stay with a person for life.
And you know what? They had happy memories of it the same as you did.
