The amusement ride is already cropped, but as I move the image around my iPad experimenting with alternative crops, here is what appeals to me:
Crop from the bottom to take out the 3 individuals facing rearward (they add nothing).
Then, crop from the top to take out the two individuals at the top ( the guy is lifeless and detracts from an otherwise exciting image).

Yes, that is an interesting idea I had not thought about. An extra advantage of that kind of crop is that it makes the viewer work a little harder to figure out what the image is and why the kids are shown at that such an angle.
