I found this building on a solo hike somewhere in the south of France.
Thanks for looking. Comments are always welcome.

"Somewhere in the south of France."
You sound a bit like me, Chris, except my forgetfulness is based upon the passage of time. What's YOUR excuse?
Good series, building to my favourite (sp a tribute to our Brit and Canuck friends) of the three- the last. I'll bet you worked at getting that marvelous shadow AND the view through the open doorway. A great combination.

All of these are very nice.

#3 makes a very interesting composition. The streaks of light coming down from the upper left to the door make amazing leading lines.

I would suggest that you brighten the shadows a little in #3 because there is too much interesting stone work and roofing that the eye struggles to see clearly. I would want to encourage the viewer to spend more time in this large area of the image.

Thank you Charlie.
My excuse is probably not knowing exactly where it was but there was no French wine involved.
I'm glad you noticed the view trough the doorway. I had to merge myself almost with the wall to get this view.

Thank you Joe for your thoughts and suggestion. Appreciate it.
I'm not sure about brightening up the darker parts of the image as it looks very natural to me as is.
But I will have a look at it.

Thank you Douglas. Glad you like them.
I don't think they have anything to do with WWII.
