So I come here and listen to you whine............any crackers and cheese with that wine
One of these days I will gather up my variety of 'dear' shots of deer, meanwhile I'll just enjoy yours..........

Yes, it's hard to complain about a little rain or some clouds when you see what is happening in the Gulf states. I hope all came through it okay with only a minor disruption in day to day living...I fear however, that simply is not going to be the case...so to all we are thinking of you....thanks for the post Ron...oh, nice deer too.
Eric
Thanx Eric.

Gorgeous shot Ron, beautiful detail ! Thanks for thinking about me, sorry you are having all the bad weather. We faired very well , no flooding, just a tree down , no damage to our home.
The biggest issues is no electricity since last Tuesday , and still none. I shouldn't complain as we are very fortunate, but since this is the whine thread, it is HOT and HUMID. I'll admit I am spoiled and miss my air conditioning. I do, however have my wine and it helps
Hope anyone in the area faired well and life gets back to normal very soon .
Birdie
I feel for you Birdie. Both Isabel and Irene took out trees - one landed only a few feet from the house. And we lost power both times - once for 2+ weeks. We built on a wooded lot, so there are many trees. The only thing we could do to prevent damage was to park the cars in different spots so that one falling tree could not take both of them out. But we survived, and you will too. At least you had something come to you to shoot.

Just go out and enjoy the soft light Ron. Look how sweet the dear’s coat looks.

Thanx Morris. I may do that today.

Nice shot Ron---but do not complain about the rain. Send it over here to Okla. as we need it very badly----statewide burn ban and they are saying it might affect the fall colors. Now thats something to complain about!
Thanx Kent. I guess our drought is over now. Part of I95 in our area flooded, and that's never happened before.
