Excellent shot Chris! Here's a video I recorded on mine just to see what the quality was like.

Of course youtube re-compressed it and killed some of the detail but not as much as I suspected it might actaully.

Hehehehe...

Yeah, I'm kinda shocked at how good these little phone-things have gotten. This one anyway (and looks like yours too!) is about the same as a bridge camera.

Mine overexposes everything by 1.5 to 2 stops but I found out (too late for the below images) that it has an AE/AF Lock (per shot) function built in so I guess I can guestimate a compensation.

Bif, nice looking panoramas. Especially the upper row - the clouds, shadows and perspective are great.

I'll add some shots to the mix. Took the boat to the shipyard for winter and grabbed some shots around the shipyard with my N8.

Yes, it's a great image.

I find myself pretty critical of a lot of what gets posted around these forums, from DSLRs to MFDB to whatever. But this is one of the strongest images I've seen on here in a while. It does reinforce that adage about the photographer...

Took the iPhone 5 out for a spin yesterday. Not too bad, honestly.

And this one is a bit different.

It's an HDR of two in-camera panoramas. Because the stitching varies a bit between the two, there wasn't perfect alignment, though HDR Efex Pro 2 did an admirable job of aligning them, considering they had slightly different projections due to sweeping further on one....still, it's sort of a dreamy effect in the end. One was started on the left and metered for the normally lit stuff. THe other was started on the right, and metered for the sun. Final image is nearly 22 MP.
