Hey guys! I know Annie because she occasionally rides my horse when I don't have time. I did this senior session for her with her horse. Let me know what you guys think! Any constructive C&C welcome

13. This wasn't planned! Although I knew horses well enough to know it was coming, so it's not a terribly lucky catch. The rider is fine, this is usual antics for this horse!

Gorgeous girl, nice series! Tilts are interpreted very subjectively and admittedly I'm against them 90% of the time, and so 5 doesn't make sense to me. For me, other lines in the image drive a tilt, and there are no lines to work this tilt. Just my opinion, a lot of people probably like it.

Love all the shots with the horses, 11 is just a game winner! 13 is killer, too, perfect how the horses eyes are like on you. Great job! Are you calling yourself a people photographer yet?

#11 is awesome. Nice set. I really like #8 as well, but you might want to think about removing the gnats that show up on the green background.

Very nice set. Lots of really good shots.

#6 has lots of OOF grass at the bottom. Try a crop that takes most of it away and see if you like that better.

Very nice! Like the ones where either the horse and girl has all of their legs in the shot or where not, they are tighter. She was obviously enjoying herself and that is ideal. Enjoyed these, thanks!

OK. I have to ask. Your username is ghdarnell. And that looks like a Greg Darnell shank on the bit on the horse.

But Greg Darnell is is a bit maker and judge and not a photographer. And not from Philadelphia! But I had to ask.

Nice set. The red reins in the portraits draw my eyes. I know that's what she had but it's distracting. And in a portrait like #8 & 10 put some baby oil or such on the horse's forelock and smooth it out better.

Pretty girl and she had to be pleased with these.

I agree the one by the pond is superb.

Funny, that some one knows Greg Darnell in here.
He actually moved to Mexico if im not wrong.
And no for the red reins either.
Cool photos and nice looking rider!!

I know Greg Darnell because he often does the equipment portion of the National Reining Horse Association judges testing (when I take it.) I'm an NRHA judge.

And I just also heard Sunday that he moved to Mexico. I bought one of his bits at a tack store in your part of the country (Denton) and his name came up.

Stunning set. I really love these, especially when the interaction with the horse comes into play. It really adds a whole new dimension to the images. Top stuff indeed.

My only critique would be that for most of the first shots, before the horse is introduced, you could almost cut her head off any of the photos and stick it onto the other images without actually changing the shot at all. What I mean of course is that her head, smile, pose from the neck up is almost identical every time so kind of makes the images a little less exciting to me. In particular in 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10.

Apart front that, the lighting, detail, colours etc are all excellent. I'm guessing she was very happy with these.
