So he wanted a creative photo for applying for jobs. I know the dress could be improved, but what do you think?

My impression was "truth in advertising". The casual nature of his dress, hair and the wild backdrop say, "I yam what I yam".

All he needs to find is somebody who wants this.

Interesting shot. Not being in the advertising biz I'd only be guessing about how well the faux mugshot will work. Might help to crop some from the bottom and whiten his teeth a smidgeon.
