Hmmm.... bird pics seem to be the trend here all of a sudden.
This one's terrific Charlie. I love the ripples flowing through the frame.

I redid the toning just a bit to bring the 255 value of the left highlights on the water down some. The blacks were ok, but I adjusted the midrange just a bit to maintain some contrast.

Also, I changed the color space from dot gain to srgb to maintain web size, I like rgb or pro-rgb, but ok

As you can see, I set the bottom end at 10, this opens up the darks a bit and prevents clipping

And I set the highs at 245, to prevent clipping and the appearance of it being too maxed out. The highs were clipping at 255 originally.

Then I adjusted the midrange to taste just a bit

Charlie, you are an artist and just don't know it...

Here is the screen print using CS6 and levels adjustment layer, I hope you did not mind.
