I went up to Flagstaff this weekend, and witnessed the first snowfall of the season up on Agassiz Peak. We drove back down and I took this photo at the field below Mt. Humpreys (In the photo). It was very cold outside; about 50F. So, we decided to go back to Phoenix and lay out in the sun, where it was 107F.

I like it very much

The dark mountains and ominous clouds set off so well with the flowers. I was in Sedona late last spring and am hoping to get back again next year. Fascinating area...

I'm rather confused by the focus, though. It looks like some flowers that would appear to be on the same depth-plane are in focus and some are not.

Thanks, glad you liked it. It is probably because I stitched this in a panorama, and it may have affected how far away I was from the subjects in each shot. Since this was shot at f/1,4, I'm guessing that is the case.

Pretty. More dof would help. Tons of potential.
