I had used this setup quickly the other day and didn't get much of a chance to explore using this setup further. I may give it another go later today with the weather quickly deteriorating outside. Can anybody tell me that has used this software and setup if the camera needs to be in LV or does it automatically come on when you use the "live view shoot button" on the software. The other day I remember turning the camera on and going into LV on the camera before plugging the tether into the camera. I was just looking over some internet info on the EOS Utility software and it didn't elaborate on this..I was thinking that some battery power can be saved if I don't need to have the camera in LV at the same time as I have the software running on the computer. Any info would help, thanks!
