I'm sure there must have been a reason why Nikon chose 2.3 but I soundly disapprove of that choice. On the other hand, and assuming you can install and run other apps as in other Android devices, my son might really appreciate a camera that can also play games and listen to music. AR_Photo Offline • Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #4 · New Nikon Coolpix S800c runs on Android Gingerbread looks like the ideal camera for the wife. better photos than a cellphone, but something she can put in her purse, and snap and upload pics of the kids to her FB/Instagram account. something the boys could play angrybirds on while she's shopping too is a plus. keep their hands off the shelves. or I'd even vote for it as a pocket camera for places like theme parks, when a full sized SLR isn't practical. perfect camera for a food blogger too! my hopes would be to have a WiFi cell with skype on it and the proper headset. very interesting turn for a PnS IMO.
