Hey folks,

I'm planning to buy a ring flash for macro photography (specifically for dental use, intraoral photos). I've been looking at the Canon MR-14EX, Sigma EM-140DG and the Metz Mecablitz 15 MS-1.

The Metz ring flash is appealing because it is wireless (I think I just need to by a synchronous cable to have it work on the 5D3). As for output, the guide numbers are similar across the board, with the Metz being slightly higher than the Canon and Sigma. Recycle time is about the same for all 3 as well.

Does anyone have any experiences with this flash?
