I appreciate the comments on the first post - I wanted to throw something up and didn't see the shadow (that's what I get for processing pics at midnight!). Anyway, here's a better shot - still processed quickly, but it shows a bit better what the D800e can do.

The sky in the first image was especially interesting. But I like the foreground better in this one. The bright grass in the first one is very contrasty. I like them both, but my guess is that this one will have more general appeal.

This one's interesting. Like the other, great contrast and subject. The rays are interesting as they highlight the little valley. I like it.
