This makes me very sad.
I covered a story yesterday where a woman is being accused of killing her two year old son. I was at the their home and all you could hear was the aunt painfully sobbing. It was heartbreaking. The other aunt called me last night about 5 minutes before I was going to bed. She wanted to organize a press conference. We spent over 20 minutes on the phone with her trying to explain the families side of the story and how the police and the media is spinning it all wrong, that the child died accidentally and there's no way her sister could be guilty of the crime. And that police convinced a simple woman into confessing something she didn't do. And having to be an ear for that and hearing this woman who feels completely helpless, who just lost her nephew and will possibly lose her sister, ask you for help and there being nothing you can do. That makes a person sad.
