It finally cleared up in Summit County last night, so I headed up to the top of Loveland Pass, CO (11,990' MSL) to try and catch the end of the annual Perseid meteor shower. Below is one image from the set, showing the International Space Station passing into the earth's shadow, as well as the Envisat satellite flaring at top left center. It was my first time shooting at night with the 5D MkIII, and I'm quite happy with the results, especially given the rather 'slow' lens used (EF 16-35/2.8L II).
