Telling someone new that they "should be" doing something sounds like a rule. So just to clarify, there is no rule and the above 'should be' taken as a suggestion. You can post images taken with Nikon cameras and 3d party lenses here. People do this all the time.

Great image, love the colours, bokeh, sharpness - all looks fantastic. I've got a Vivitar 80-200 f3.5 Macro (I believe) that I've never really used...should break it out and see what it can do.
