Hang in there. Your price is very fair. I was looking for one of these five years ago for the price you're quoting, and a 600 f$ popped up for a little more. So I went for the beast, never looked back.
I sold a 400 f5.6 earlier this year which turned out to have a mark on the front element that I didn't see. I offered the buyer a 90-day money-back. Whatever he's doing with the lens, he hasn't asked to send it back. So, consider an extended return policy -
You should also promote all the spectacular images you've posted on the N&W Forum you got with this lens - tell prospective buyers to do a search on the N&W Forum for your username. Best advertising you could do, 'cuz you weren't thinking about selling the lens when you got those pics.
