I purchased a like new hitch soft md grad filter and have used it perhaps a dozens times. When not in used it stays in the plastic sleeve which goes in a thin felt bag.
Today I noticed scattered thin pock marks on both sides.
Can this happen by occassionaly gently sliding the filter up and down against the filter ring of my lenses? I keep the lenses clean and in good shape.
