Triple B Offline • Upload & Sell: Off p.1 #1 · Lastolite STUDIO EzyBox not Hotshoe I have the Lastolite Ezybox Studio versions, both in the 24" and 36" square size. Does anyone know whether or not the Mark II Bracket that comes with the Hotshoe version (and can be bought separately) will work with the Studio versions I have? In other words, I would like to be able to use the two softboxes for both studio strobes like I am now and ALSO with my hotshoe flashes. The studio version has a plate that the Elinchrom speed ring I use attaches to ( with small bolts/nuts). Can the speed ring be taken off and substituted with the Martk II bracket? Lastolite says no...I called them. Other forums say yes. Maybe Lastolite told me NO so I'll buy an entire new hotshoe softbox outfit. I trust the opinion of the members here at FM more than anywhere else. People who post here seem way more knowledgeable than anywhere else. Thanks! Brian Aug 12, 2012 at 12:11 PM

BrianO Online • • • • • Upload & Sell: On p.1 #2 · Lastolite STUDIO EzyBox not Hotshoe I know that the reverse is true; that is, you can fit an Elincrom to an EzyBox Hotshoe with the new Quadra Adapter, but I don't know about going the other way with the Mark II bracket. One thing that I'm pretty sure would work -- and a call to Jerry Kacey would confirm it -- is to use one of the Kacey Speedlight Adapters (single- or dual-flash) with the appropriate speedring for the EzyBox Studio. You'd just unscrew the Elincrom Speedring and replace it with the Kacey Adapter. Aug 12, 2012 at 09:32 PM

What I did is screw in Alzo Bracket Bracket to the Lastolite Universal Speedring. Now I can use Lastolite Studio with speedlites.
