Basic situation: I have access to quite a few 430EX and 580EX, but feel more at home with a Nikon. Which makes me curious what would happen if one puts a N-version smart radio trigger on the camera hot shoe and some C-version RX under the flashes? Products coming to mind would be the Odins and PW FlexTT.
Do they realize they are montague and capule and don't talk to each other? Simple center contact triggering? Or something completly different? Has anybody tried that and lives to tell the tale?

A Nikon Speedlight on a Nikon-version FlexTT5 from a Canon camera with Canon-version MiniTT1 or FlexTT5 attached.
