I like the shot. Subtle HDR is the way to go in my opinion of course and you got it right here.

Agree, limited tone mapping here does this scene nicely and more realistically.

I like the tonality, as well, and the use of HDR. My only negative is that nothing seems in focus. A little camera shake, or is this something to do with the registration of the overlapping images? I keep putting my readers off and on and can't quite seem to focus on this image.

^ looks a bit OOF or blurred to me as well. OP, if you haven't yet, you may wany to try using mirror lock up to reduce vibrations of the mirror. Apart from that, it's a great image, though I might clone out that pier or whatever it is in the water near the middle of the photo.

I have the same feeling with this HDR.
