Ok what the yuck? I downloaded the 2.0 and my 7D is still the same, I expected a huge difference in IQ I expected it to rival the 5D4 or whatever it's called but no it's still the 7D I love
You're trying to control the camera too much. With the new firmware I just sent mine out tonight on its own with instructions to obtain the photos I wanted. Camera got run over crossing the road but I salvaged the CF card and I have some award winning images. Just ease up. Take the strap off the camera and let it go free to do what it was designed for. If the 7D loves you, it will come back to you.

This is a joke people have been saying the IQ will be better again this is a joke
my 3" screen has turned into a GPS navigator, now I don't need to take maps with me when shooting and can play mp4 movies via the CF card, great in keeping the kids quiet when on trips
best firmware to date, and a world 1st for DSLR - GO CANON
Left the door open last night. 7D must have gotten out 'cause it just dragged its sorry plastic butt in the door a few minutes ago. Appears the lens cap is missing from the 16-35. Noticed lip stick on the LCD and I think I smelled alcohol! I sent the newly updated 7D directly to the safe with a scolding for sneaking out on me and taking photos all night. I sure hope my 7D wasn't hanging with those Nikons down the street. Bad group, I tell ya!
I should have never updated my firmware. What has gotten into these young cameras these days?
