I grew up in Harlem and still have a lot of friends there so it's always good to go back. We didn't grow up together but he is a really good friend who ended up moving there. Oddly enough this is my first session of any kind that was shot in Harlem. Their wedding is this weekend. Here's the e-sesh.
Nice set. I like 2, 6, and 9. I feel that there's too much going on in 3, and I can't focus on the couple. Maybe the shot would've been stronger with more DOF where they separate a bit more.
thoughts...
#2 ... just wish you could have panned a little to the left and still let the gentleman walk into the frame.
#3 he has this scowl - at least that is what i first thought of.
#4 ...lighting on her and the dress. hot spot on the legs bring attention there in stead of her face.
5/6 nice.
#7 the composition gives more importance to him. i would crop off space on to his right. bring her into more prominence. The lines in the image direct the viewer to her.
1/9/10/11/12/13 sweet ... did i mention sweet.
just my 2 cents.
it will be cool to see the images from the wedding.
