p.1 #1 · D7K with 300 F4 Rocks

Got the D7K as a back up to my D700, and have appreciated it's crop factor, it's auto focus, it's color rendition. Put some good glass on it and ....

Great stuff Fred... the Monkey's been preaching the merits of the D7K for a while now similarly. Just curious... I'm guessing but these with an AFS 300 or the non-AFS model?

I shot field sports for a year with the combo and loved it, I still go back to the F4 when the light is good and I don't feel like lugging the 2.8 around.

I couldn't agree more Fred! These are great examples of what the D7000 is capable of. Speaking of great glass, try some old Nikon MF lenses on her, I think you'll like it.

I couldn't agree more Fred! These are great examples of what the D7000 is capable of. Speaking of great glass, try some old Nikon MF lenses on her, I think you'll like it.
