Where's the bridge located?
IMO the second shot would work better as part of a bigger series.
I really like the first image- even as a solo. I wish the cables stretched out about 50% more into the sky, though. (Picky, picky .)
Processing on both look excellent to me.

Thanks Douglas. These are post burn. When I was there I was looking at details, and it was 100 degrees and I was in a hurry etc but here is a quick shot where the roadway was:

Too bad about the bridge burning. But why did it? Never heard of a steel or concrete bridge burning. Or even a wooden bridge for that matter. Was it vandalism? Or a tanker truck flipping and burning? It sure doesn't look like a brush fire.
And, man- that sure screws up the entrance/exit from the northeast. A lot of people will not bother to drive up the canyon from Moab- and that's a shame- it's a spectacular drive.
