I have been unable to find any reviews of the new Canon 28 2.8 IS lens. This lens intrigues me as a great supplement to my 24L II and 35L for shooting slow shutter shots handheld. Lots of times I would like to shoot slow shutter at higher apertures such as shooting city shots at night. Sure I can shoot them at 1.4 but not enough is in focus for certain shots. Also would like to use for band shots where I want to intentially cause motion blur. ..and would be great for hand-held video.

Any user comments or links to reviews are welcome. No interest in debates about the pricing or why did they bother to make this lens discussion.

Digital Rev has a video review on the 24mm, bottom line "results" not much different than original.
