My family spent a week in Germany and I am now getting around to working on some of the images that I liked the most. Most of them don't go into the Landscape Forum, but these two I thought would.
#1
This cornfield was just outside the house we stayed in. Sunrise every morning was very early, and never very interesting. Sunsets usually followed suit, but I liked the soft colors against the corn blooms.
#2
The Hagnau Ferry Pier at sunset. This was my second trip to the pier.
#3
The Hagnau Ferry Pier at late afternoon, This was my third trip to the pier.
Thanks for looking, comments and crits are welcomed.
Nice work on all 3 of these. That must have been a very cool trip to get over there. I would say that #2 is my favorite here, you did a great job with that moon.

Thanks for taking the time Jim. It was a fun trip, and I enjoyed it a lot. My sister in law is from that part of Germany, so it was a return trip home for her.
I struggle a LOT with the moon, it never looks like a moon in my attempts, but this one I was happy with it not having any detail, the shape was the classic shape of the moon.

These are just great! The moon, the subtle gradations in the sky of number one, and the simplicity of number three. Well done! I'm a big fan!

Thanks! The vignette is the result of the 10 stop on the 10-22, there is more falloff with that lens than can be accounted for, so I have to embrace it!
very nice set - for me it is #1 slightly ahead of #2 for my favorite. I like the comp, depth, and slight pano cropping of it - it really draws my vision into the scene!

Thanks Mike. The cornfield has a special spot for me, it reminds me of growing up running through the cornfields in Kansas. I wanted to have the image draw you into the field, glad it works.
