After cropping and what not, I have a image sized to "11x14" that is 2520  3208, (229ppi). I'm ok with that. The lab wants it to be 300ppi, which I believe would equate to 3,300 x 4,200. The native file size coming out of the camera is not even this big.

I know this had been talked about much before, but I've been unable to find any information that clicked in my brain.

Do I need to size each image for print prior to sending it to the lab? (I'm using WHCC). Previously, with other labs in the past, I just loaded the image sizes up, clicked the print sizes I desired, and they came in the mail. I was ok with that.

Someone please help my brain click....

I use Bay/EZ-Print (SmugMug) and Costco for rush jobs, and there's no such requirement. Prints come out perfect.

WHCC recommends 300ppi but it isn't a requirement your fine sending your photos without resizing.
